Today is the first anniversary of the October 7th Hamas terror attacks on Israel, we are reminded that Israel’s struggle is not just a political one; it’s a  spiritual battle. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently addressed Congress, emphasizing that Israel’s enemies are also America’s enemies. We are reminded that Israel and the West share the same fight for freedom against the forces of darkness.

The recent atrocities committed by Hamas, including the brutal slaughter of innocent children, are a stark reminder of the devil’s hatred for God’s people. Just as Satan seeks to destroy Israel, he targets all followers of Jesus with the same murderous intent. Israel, as God’s chosen nation, bears witness to His faithfulness, and the hatred directed at them is ultimately a reflection of humanity’s rebellion against God.

As believers, we are spiritually united with Israel in this battle, and we must stand together. The rise of antisemitism and violence against Israel is a visible sign of the deeper spiritual forces at work in the world. Now is the time to pray, be vigilant and take a stand for God’s purposes.
